Our team is made up of people from a variety of backgrounds. Team members come from the caring community; teachers, nurses, councillors, drug project workers, sexual health workers and so on. These people take an active interest in using their skills to see that event attendees have a helping hand when they need it the most.
Others want to work with child and youth protection, seeing that those event attendees who are underage stay safe and that parents and families have support.
Still others come from divergent backgrounds: accountants, office workers, construction workers. They enjoy events, have a caring nature and want to give something back to the festivals and events that have helped them in the past.
Have you thought of joining us? By becoming part of our team we can provide you with training and guidance on how to give the best support possible to anyone who walks in to the welfare unit. And with experience, you may become part of our senior team of managers and supervisors.
